If I were rich and single...

If I was rich (I wouldn't want to be single).. I would build a modest size home, but it would have an indoor pool and one of those insane bathrooms with a big tub and one of those huge glass walk in showers with marble everywhere. Those are two things that I think would just be awesome. I also want 2 stoves, 2 ovens and 2 sinks in my kitchen, where I would learn how to really cook.

I'd take recreational pilot lessons and possibly buy a 2-seater small aircraft, hire someone to decorate my house right and have a completely finished garage and basement.

I would find a way to work 3 days a week somewhere, because I think that is the happy balance everyone needs, and it could be starting a business, and dumping obscene amounts of money into it the first year to make it the best even if it means never re-couping the cost later.

brewing is both cheap and easy. if either of you want info on how to get started, PM me. you can get up and running for less than the cost of a single razor.

if i was richer than i currently am, and more single than i currently am. hmm. i suppose becoming batman is a little cliche. i suppose further than becoming hugh hefner is yet more cliche. hmmm. i dunno. the more i see people who have lots of money, the more i kinda wanna never be one.

i suppose i'd gather all the hobos i could find, from every corner of the world and make them watch as i burned the money and went back to my normal life. besides, if i wasn't married, everything that sucks about my life would be awesome :D right?:w who needs money if you don't have a wife? :mace:

...I'd quit the day job, invest in my photography business, and then work on fixing the 'single' part. Life is more fun with somebody to share it with.

Hey Quick, I'd be really interested in forming or joining a privateering endeavor. I've suggested to my friends that we do something like that, high speed boats, great equipment, sponsored by those loosing so much. apparently from a brief snippet I caught on the radio yesterday there is something in US law that allows for such endeavors to prevent privacy.

I HATE thieves, and hate pirates. I knew somebody who's parent were killed by pirates in the caribbean. if the military forces of various countries involved aren't enough to deter the pirates private enterprises might be helpful. heck, some of these big corps that are folding should refocus and get a bunch of ex-military from the international pool and start something up.

If I were rich and single I would move to the maldives and build a house on poles in the water right outside the beach of a nice island. There would be a door out of my bedroom, so I could just step right out into the water every morning.
There would be a dock connected to the house with a Grumman Goose seaplane that would be my office. Imagine working in one of the most beautiful areas of the world doing what you love the most :)

But wait a second: I am doing what I love the most, and it is nothing that is holding me back from moving to somewhere exotic and fly there instead. If I am lucky I might even hook up with a crazy girl on my way there, so I might get that exact scenario (give take) only with a girl and without a lot of money :)
