1000 posts, still much to learn

I just hit my 1000th post here on SRP and wanted to share some thoughts, impressions, semi-drunken ramblings with you fine folks.

1. this site has a WEALTH of information, and I have learned a lot about razors, hones, booze, cigars et al.: I hope to keep learning as time goes by, you never know what mysterious natural hone lurks around the corner. :hmmm:

2. most of the regular poster's here are complete gentlemen: very patient and kind, very willing to share their knowledge with anyone who is interested. Good job all!

3. this site is bad for my wallet: see first point

4. I have made some (hopefully) lifelong friends here: I hope this trend continues with the next Mid-MO get together. Others I have corresponded with via PM or posts, and hope to meet in person soon...
