What utter nonsense! This has nothing to do with manliness. Odd sort of manliness that depends on how the opposite sex is approached.
That said, I'll add two things:
- women actually seem favour a degree of caddishness
- I'm single

We could refrase as:
- all manly man bully their wife
And thus:
- a gentleman who's a gentleman to his wife too can't be a manly man
- a gay man can't be a manly man
- a single man can't be a manly man
You see? That's preposterous!

His intent will not be to hurt or get what he wants. It is a delicate walk but if a man gives up his integrity and what is good and proper to do for the sake of a relationship and a womans approval then what kind of man is he. And can such a relationship stand the test of time?
