Are you a manly man or a girly man?
When I was married my wife wanted a dish washer. I told her they were attached to her wrists.
This inspired me to start a poll!
Do you speak your mind with your significant other?
Well, do you, punk?

Are you a manly man or a girly man?
Dignity of manners conveys a reserve of force.'Living the dream, one nightmare at a time'

Thanked: 171I say stuff like that to her in jest, but definitely not seriously. She would punch me in my face, and IMO, rightfully so. I treat her with respect, which is, in my opinion, manly of me. So I guess I'm a manly man.

I have learned never to disregard consequence so I frequently ask, "what answer do you want from me"? and think twice about how I'll speak. She's aware of it and it sometimes infuriates her, but I keep up. The women in this family are a force to be reckoned with!

I answered "Yes, but I still lose my balls" because she can find ample opportunity to give it right back to me. I win/lose some, she wins/lose some. What can ya' do? I'm happy and that's what's important.

I like this answer too! My mother said that when I deal with a woman don't be like a shower curtain...you know, you punch at it and it gives way, you never make solid contact, but neither should you be all iron but rather you should be like a velvet glove filled with an iron hand. Loving and caring but no nonsense and immovable as needed.
