And here is my entry. This is rusty. A 65 lb mixed breed. I am told that he is part Australian cattle dog and part Australian shepherd. I looked it up on line and he looks very much like a dog they call a Texas heeler which is apparently the same mix as rusty.
To that, I say this:
According to the American Canine Temperament Testing Association, 82.5%of the American Pit Bull Terriers that took the temperament test passed, compared to a 77% passing rate for all breeds on average. In the test a dog is placed in a series of confrontational situations. The first sign of aggression or panic is a failure of the test. Pit Bulls have achieved the fourth highest passing rate of all 122 breeds tested.
I've been around a lot of dogs in my life and have never seen or heard of a pit attacking anybody I know.

James.
Mike - Great looking Boxers. I love them.
I'd get another pooch if we didn't have my other half's Shih-tzu Poodle mix 1/2 time. He doesn't like dogs, but Mack knows to stay away from him after being growled at too many times! I'm not sure what other less-tolerant dogs would do... probably have a little white snack before dinner.
Breed: English Bulldog
Name: Smudge (a.k.a. The Wrinkle Baron)
Here's my boy, playing in the snow with me. Jake is his name, and he will be everyone's friend (although the rescue that I got him from can pucker up and kiss my @*$%)
