actually, although you can revoke "Thank This Post" it seems you cannot revoke reputation (good or bad) I just went and tried it on a semi-worthy post for positive rep, and I can't find a way to revoke it.

also, I have been noticing the upswing in negative rep as well, been given a couple myself. I don't really see it as a big deal. it seems analagous to /. in that it's like "-1 Troll" or "-1 Flamebait". I don't think disagreeing with someone is a good reason to use it, but if they are genuinely being an ass (and here I've been guilty a few times, and slapped with negative rep for it, too) then I don't think using negative rep is necessarily a bad thing.

mods, is there a way to revoke reputation? now I'm curious. I propose a test... everyone start randomly handing out rep with no sense or reason, pretty soon it'll be meaningless :mace:
