I find it interesting, yet comforting to keep reading the phrase "I know where everything is" in this thread. I think we are all spatially oriented, and clutter is our way of mapping our environment.
Help me figure out if there's something to this, and answer me this, fellow clutterphiles:
Do you like to solve puzzles? Love to read maps? Are you a whiz at remembering obscure factoids?
Do you answer the question "Have you seen the . . . ?" with something like:
"It's in the living room, in the stack by the left end of the sofa, underneath the copy of the recipe for Shrimp with Chili Sauce"
If someone "moves your stuff" do the bills wind up not being paid until they send you new ones?
