Default Kim is back! Babe vs. Mom: Mom wins!

I have always been a great fan of Kim. My oldest daughter's third name is Kim. I was sad to see her retire from tennis, and happy to hear that she'd make a comeback.

and what a comeback it is
First wildcard ever to win a grandslam.
First mom in 30 years to win a grandslam.
First player outside of the top 10 to ever win a grandslam.
Winning a grandslam 1 month after coming back.

It has to be frustrating for the other Belgian tennis girls. Working hard for years and years without ever really breaking thourgh to the top. Then Kim comes back out of retirement and zooms past them to a level where they'll never get.

Whatever. I am really glad to see her doing so well.

I'm sorry Bruno. Is this your wife, daughter or just a tennis player with the name Kim?

My wife... I wish (Not really but you know what I mean). Kim is totally hot (just my humble opinion).

Sorry I thought people would know. This is Kim Clijsters. One of the Belgian tennis legends. Former number 1 of the world in singles and doubles tennis.
She recently made a comeback and won the US open last night.

My wife and I have been Kim fan since the beginning.

It is a great comeback. I feel a little sorry for Kim as the limelight was a little dulled by the controversy during the game and how the final point was won.

Personally I think it was a pity (the 1/2 final against serena williams) but I support the ref decision at that point. such behavior cannot be condoned, no matter how the game is going.

Kim had won the first set and was at 2 match points, so it's not like she got handed the victory without having earned it.

Serena lost control of herself as well as the game. That little girl with the curly locks is gorgeous!!

    Cool

An amazing come back, and match. Woznyacki is stunning, and Kim has very pretty eyes.

Outstanding, I'm glad she won I'm glad a non ranked played did so well. Underdogs rule!

Would have been much better to have seen the Scott win the men's final too.

    Cheers

Kim is gorgeous. She outgorgeouses Woznyacki by a mile and a half imo.

The underdog thing is a bit overrated imo. She's only low-ranked because she came back from retirement. She was number 1 of the world for a long time. Now if wickmayer would have won, THAT would have been a true underdog scenario.

After careful investigation and reviewing all the evidence Bruno, I declare you wrong But I can see how one might get a little confused over the matter. And then there is the issue of patriotic pride and all, But if one were to view the evidence with an objective and dispassionate eye one would quickly come to the conclusion that you are plain wrong!
