First of all, a 22 year old who hasn't seen war does not have wisdom. So, don't attempt to give any, grasshopper. Secondly, you don't have a clue what went on in Viet Nam. You are not allowed to pass judgement. For someone who thinks he is so intelligent, why did you cavalierly offer the word premeditated?Quote:
How am I "talking out of my ass"
Premeditation involves preconceived thoughts and a plan to carry them out. Oh... wrong word, then... gee... duh... oh, well. Hardly? Your condescending spirit pisses me off. You need to be bitch-slapped into the next province. So, yes, David is a good guy... and you're the bad guy.
What we did most of the time in Viet Nam was reactionary. None of us grew up thinking we would be put in a postion to kill other people just because we were told to... but we were. It just doesn't matter what the reasons were. Ever kill anybody, whatever-your-name-is? Justified or not, there is a pain that goes with it, and it lives with you the rest of your life.
I have killed 28 people. And many times, I was not very nice about it. My first thoughts in Viet Nam were, "why should I shoot these guys, they haven't done anything to me?" I was a happy-go-lucky wet-behind-the-ears youngster like you. Younger than you, by the way. Then, very early on, my 6-man recon team ran across a fellow American who had been captured, tied to the ground, had a hole cut in his chest where a wood fire had been built... all while he was still alive. Why? Just to be mean. I became mean...
Be glad you are in a passive country that doesn't get as involved as we do. But know this. Also be glad that you are directly above the country that keeps your country safe. Someone who attacks Canada would be dealing directly with us, you can bet on it. The world knows that. That allows you freedom at no cost.
You can offer up your sarcastic witticism and obnoxious comments about anything on these forums as you normally do, I don't care. But when your ideological ass gets in the middle of our veterans, somewhere it don't belong, I'll will jump in the middle of your chest every time.
is not a commendation.Quote:
But hey, it takes a big man to admit something like that, and it's clearly been grating on his conscience.
But hey, and Hardly is condescending. Try listening for a change, you may learn something besides the rules of grammar.
