Default Just because it reminded me of a hone

I was out at the liquor store the other night with my girlfriend because I'd run out of Scotch and my girlfriend offered to get me another bottle (she's a keeper). She also likes Scotch, but only highlands, because she's not a fan of the peat. So, with highlands in mind, we picked out our top three choices. It was a combination of... well we mostly go by what the bottle and box looks like. But then I spotted The Dalmore and thought the name was quite familiar. It took me a minute, but I realized I knew the name because of the Dalmore Blue and Dalmore yellow hones. Then I saw that the box and bottle were quite nice and that it was a highland. So we brought home a bottle of Dalmore 12. Very nice indeed, gives off an aroma of mapel syrup, and it's great to drink.

Now I just need a Dalmore hone or two...

    Nice choice!

Maybe next week you can look for a bottle of Penderyn. It's the only whiskey distilled in wales and it's a fantastic drink.

I did see a bottle of Penderyn and thought it interesting because it was from Wales. I also saw a bottle from Japan that caught my attention.

We have a chain of pubs here from a company called 'Weatherspoons' and they stock Penderyn so I drink it often when I am out. I haven't bought a bottle yet, but it's really very nice.

Yes, i saw that Japanese stuff in a local supermarket, I have never tried it though.
