Thread: Anyone see...

That commercial for Intel with the robot wielding a straight razor like a pro and shaving a subject. Then they say lets try that again and you see the other side of the guys face full of cuts and as they adjust the computer the look of fear on his face.

Now that's what I'm talking about. Someone needs to invent a shaving machine that works.

So if there was one and it was foolproof and affordable would you buy it and use it or would you continue to do it the old fashioned way?

I'm an old fashioned guy. I don't need to improve on the perfection of the straight razor wielded by the shaver's own hand.

i rather like my face and what damage i can and will do is enough. i do not think i want any robot close to me with a straight...what happens if there is a power failure or the program gets a slight hiccup in it?

Where's the fun in that?!

Before I discovered straight razor shaving I'd have said "Get me that machine!". The reason being that I hated shaving and it always hurt my face.

But now I actually enjoy it and I look forward to my shaves, so now I wouldnt want a shaving machine.

We only invent machines to either do things we dont like, or to speed things up so we can can and do something more fun! I enjoy shaving so I wouldnt want a machine to do it for me..!

Is that a Wapi the machine is holding?

If so, at least it got that right!
