Got razors. Got guns. Got knives. Served in the Army. Qualilfied expert on all the weapons given to me: machine guns, rifles, pistols, grenade launchers, etc. And prefer watching westerns or comedies; don't have much use for war movies.
Prefer creams to soaps although I had a wonderful shave this morning using some or other soap. Doncha just hate it when you wear the stamp off the top of the soap and you can't remember the name of the stuff that just worked really swell? Me too.

Only two of the items apply to me. But then, I don't think I've ever fit into the profile of any group I've ever belonged to. My older son on the other hand owns several knives, used to collect firearms, was just discharged with an E-4 rank (one tour in Iraq, one in
Afghanistan and one in Honduras where he was attached to drug enforcement) and loves war movies. By the way, he shaves with a Norelco. Go figure.

-I used to target shoot 22 rifles. We did that NRA thing where you earn bars - I think I earned my Bar VII... don't really remember. I've not shot in years... I don't own a gun and never have, though I would if I had the time, money, and somewhere to shoot.

This is a great idea for a poll. It seems that the anecdotal idea that many here own guns holds true.
Scratch that, the question doesn't ask solely about ownership.
I'm a gun owner, and I like good war movies. I have a few knives, but wouldn't classify it as a collection. I maintain our local police station, but I work for them indirectly. And I have not served in the military.
I do collect straight razors. My collection has over 150 razors in it.
Yeah, I wish that question had left out the "or have you fired" part. I could be wrong, but I'd think most guys have at least fired a weapon at some point or other (in the U.S., that is).Quote:

I got the chance to try one of my granddads hunting rifles somewhere about the early to mid teens. But I don't care about guns.
Also I like action movies (like I would guess a lot of people do) But I don't care if it is a "war" movie or not war movies just tend to have a lot of action.
I picked none of the above as that is what I perceive is the right answer according to the "spirit" of the question as I understand it.
