    Default Barber Chairs

Any of you guys ever think about getting an antique Barber's Chair for the house or even have one? I would love to buy two in nice shape and put a lounge table in between and set it all by my pool table downstairs. Lynn

That would be sweet and if the game got boring you could just lean the chair back and take a nap.

As a matter of fact, I have looked at them, and would love to have one when I get a place where I can have a rec room of my own (or a den large enough for a pool table).

The gf likes the idea because she wants me to show her how to give me a shave! Besides, an antique barber's chair is a cool conversation piece.

By the by, I don't think they're too expensive. The ones I've seen are in the $500 area, though some of the really, really great ones can run a lot more. And they can be restored - probably worth it to get someone to tune up the hydraulics anyway. Oh, and, of course, replace the vinyl with red leather...

    Lynn,

Throw in an old Wurlitzer Juke Box, a pay phone on the wall, wow...that would be any man's castle!

I'm still working on the 'house' part . Anyone have an inexpensive piece of property somewhere reasonable that I can buy so I can start building a decent home? .

I hear Alaska's cheap. How much do you like your winter? Ski? I bet there's good river paddling too if you're into that. Everybody hunts moose.
