I'm a Brownie
I'm a Brownie.
I worship the true incarnation of the Big Bang- John Moses Browning. Therefore I must carry this Colt 1911A1 Light Weight Commander with me at all times or risk eternal damnation.
It's my religion and I'm sticking to it. Get in my way and I'll riot. So there.
May the .45 be with you,
LG Roy

Kirpan
You probably know it better as a kirpan. You know, one of those little daggers that Gobind Singh says you have to have with you at all times, even in the shower.
My ancestors carried similar knives called sgain dhus. Then said ancestors got kicked out of Scotland and came to America and heard the true and very loud calling of the Big Bang and were thus enlightened.
But I have to admit, the little black knives were easier to carry than a .45 (JMB forgive this blasphemy.)
Now pardon me whilst I anoint myself with Ballistol.

They don't say much about the conditions attached in the news. In public school he could wear it, but under his clothes concealed and hard to get to, not visible. On the news today he had a chain from the hilt to the scabbard making it actually impossible to draw! That said, it might not be him that plans to use it, right? Unless it's safe it shouldn't be there.

I mean coming from NYC knives in school are not a foreign thing. However they are illegal. I would not have a problem if it was welded into the scabbard but otherwise to hell with that..
