Thread: Don't Interrupt Roommates with Straight Razors...

This makes me embarrassed to be in Kansas... at least it makes me think that my roommates back in college were a whole lot nicer (check out what the perp used to attack his buddy):

Well, I guess for all those that said that straight razors make terrible weapons that would snap off after the first contact are wrong. Having said that, the gash was on his back which means that the attacker probably snuck up behind the guy and did the damage....no balls to do it from the front I suppose. The real unfortunate thing is that it is this kind of carp that gets things legislated. It was the rise in katana attack in the UK that got them banned.

He was probably getting his towels just how he likes them before using the razor for a relaxing shave. In those circumstances, you can't blame the chap really.

Well in that case why cut the room mate since you want them a tad moist as well as warm.

Jeez! I just hope this doesnt lead to straights being banned. That seems to be the government response to most things.

he was trying to probably get that residual Lillac vegetal smell out of his shave towels and he was interrupted and now has to live with that smell. If someone did that to me I'd get a gun and kill them.

If he had quick access to a str8 then he shaved with it. No matter how angry you are, why would you risk edge damage?

Hopefully he had it pro honed and it is a clean cut!

lol...if he was angry enough not to be concerned about certain prison time, I'm sure he wasn't thinking about damaging a razor's edge.

No, the govenment's response to eveything is to appoint a committee to study the problem who will respond with recommedations which are put into a bill which is then studied,voted on and if passed, sent to the House (or the Senate depeding on which one authored the bill) who will study it, make changes and send it back to the body that introduced it. They will then study the changes, make their own changes, vote on it and return it. It will then be voted on or tabled until a new administration takes over with a new agenda. Oh and by the way, both Senate and House will add many footnotes that benefit their own little private interests and have nothing to do with the original legislation. By the time it becomes law, my grandchidren will be shaving. I don't think we have to worry about the immediate future.
