Fun with language

School is back in sesion for a little fun with language. Todays' subject is homonyms, homographs, and homophones.

From the Oxford dictionary:
"hom-o-nym, - One of two or more words that have the same sound and often the same spelling but differ in meaning."

"hom-o-graph - One of two or more words that have the same spelling but differ in origin, meaning, and sometimes pronunciation"

"homo-o-phone - One of two or more words, such as KNIGHT & NIGHT, that are pronounced the same but differ in meaning, origin, and sometimes spelling"

I thought it would be interesting to see what my fellow wordsmiths can come up with in one sentence. I'll start with 2 sentences I find amusing:

The dove dove under the bush.

It took a number of injections for my jaw to get number.

Just to clarify, homonyms do not have to be spelled the same. The examples you gave are great, but the following is also an example of a homonym:

"It is not fair that you paid a lower fare than me."
