The Monkees--I'm a Believer,
which I cut from the back of a box of HoneyCombs!
I used to play it over and over on a phonograph that I made from scratch. The needle was mounted onto a large plastic cottage cheese container which served as the speaker. Because the speed of the rotation of the record was the result of my turning a crank, the speed and pitch of the song was different every time. I still think the way I played it was better than the normal version, and I have fond memories of that song.

Tommy Roe's crazy 1969 hit "Dizzy"...over and over and over and well you get the point.
Worse, the first 45 I bought was
:gaah:
Wild Cherry--Play That Funky Music White Boy!
:dropjaw:

The Four Tops, "Baby I Need Your Lovin'."
Geez the brain cells have no idea but maybe my first was the Beatles "She Loves You"
The last 45 I bought I can remember easier ~ Jerry Byrne's "Lights Out"

Well, I was way too young to buy it myself, but as soon as I was capable to reach over the lid and work the record player, I would play this record over and over and over again.
Green Onions - Booker T and the M G's
Good thing my Mother loved to hear this song.
About a decade later, this one Outta Space was the first record I actually purchased.
I think this is the oldest so far. On my first outing to a record store, I bought three, Jan & Dean's Drag City and two by artists I can't remember, Beyond the Sea and Washington Square. It must have been around 1962 or so.
YouTube - Somebody to Love - Jefferson Airplane - Surrealistic Pillow 1967"Somebody to Love" by Jefferson Airplane, my parents are still trying to figure out WTH happened!
Embarrassing but true
I think this was the first I bought...

It might have been
YouTube - Sonny And Cher - I Got You Babe
I used to watch their show every week. My older brother bought a couple of Black and Tan coon hounds he decided to name Sonny and Cher. I tried to talk him out of it. I told him to imagine just how stupid we would feel calling out those names out in the woods at 2AM. Turns out I was right, at least, I felt pretty stupid yelling those names over and over.
Mine was Mr. Jaws and I also had Wichita Lineman

I can remember 3:

My first 45's given to my buy my uncle and drove my mom nuts. I still have my old 45's somewhere at my moms house I gotta go find them. Great post brings back so many great memories. I can remember listening to Rolling Stones in my uncles room on his real to real.

Bill Haley and the Comets
Never had a 45. I jumped from 78s to 33 1/3s
:beer2:
Well, young Mr Nessmuck, it took some doin' to organize
enough grey matter to formulate a reply, but here it is:
1) "Rock Around the Clock"...Bill Haley and the Comets
2) "Bo Diddley's a Gunslinger"...Bo Diddley
Paul
To this day, I still maintain that if you truly want to test the sheer power of a sound system, the best song to use to challenge it is
Edgar Winter's FRANKENSTEIN!

Ron, I vehemently disagree, this Dutchman is crazy, ya gotta love him!
Of course you can disagree. After all, you've been wrong before!
The Dutchman is definitely crazy, certainly gets points for use of his voice, and is a contender for loudness testing, but in my opinion the Albino still gets the nod for the huge variability of range in this very early use of synthesizers and his "song" is still is the one that is better for vibrating your synapses into submission when a stereo is amped up to eleven.
OK, I'm a little younger than you guys, but I'll play. My first 45 was Queen's 'Another One Bites the Dust.' Had 'Don't Try Suicide' on the flip. Led me to my first album purchase, which was 'The Game.' I had three media options from which to choose for that album. I, of course, chose the 8 track! I now own it on vinyl, cassette, and CD. The 8 track is long gone!
The Rolling Stones - Honky Tonk Women was the A side, with You Can't Always Get What You Want as the B side.
To be honest I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Stones until now....
Almost forgot this one

Born to be Wild - Steppenwolf
It wasn't my idea. When I was 7 years old Mom took my brother, sister, and I to Sears and told us we could buy one 45 each. I can't remember what I wanted to buy, but it definitely was more along the lines of Carpenters. My brother (6 years older) convinced me people would think I was a wimp if I got some sappy bubble gum rock and didn't get the Steppenwolf. Like most younger brothers, I caved under the pressure. After all, he was officially a teenager:)
Now my big brother is my best friend and thanks to him I can now say I actually bought a classic as my first 45.
If I remember correctly:
The Rolling Stones - Paint It Black
Still one of my favorite tunes.
