Thread: "The Phill"

I was exchanging an email with Phill last night and come to find out this is what he had to say to me:

"I just got out of the emergency room after 6 hours. I got my right hand smashed between a back hoe bucket and a large breaker box. 24 stitches, luckily only one broken bone in the pinky, and some heavy tissue damage. So I'm going to be pretty out of it for a while. I'm going to try and get some rest so would you tell the guys they might not hear too much out of me little while."

I wish him the best and hope he recovers soon...

Probably you wont be using your right hand for shaving for a little time, but smoking pipe with left hand works like a walk in a park.

I'm lucky I didn't loose any fingers, that is for sure. Being one handed is starting to get frustrating already.

Thank goodness you still have fingers to give!! Hope you make a full recovery.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. Little bad news today though, my doctor is pretty sure I have cut the flexer tendon in my index finger so I am going to have to see a hand specialist and most likely have surgery to repair the tendon. If it is ok with you guys and the mods, I have some pics of my hand post stitching, fair warning though, its not too pretty.
