The practicality of mine is she wants a new handbag. I know Tumi isn't designer but for $375 for the handbag and $225 for the wallet it kind of is and it lasts a long time as I have a Tumi backpack. Aside from that, she gets me strops, creams and colognes and I love them. :)

I am sorry if you took my comments in any manner other than good spirited fun. I always laugh at US (men) for the things we do for out ladies.

Again, please accept my apologies or any comment I made that seems to have been out of line in any manner. If we were standing in the same room I'm certain my comments would have been laughed at.

My intention was for us to laugh at us.

I've had an excellent method when buying birthday present for my wife: i keep my ears open 365 days a year. Sooner or later she says something to give me a hint. Something she wants/likes but wouldn't ever buy herself. Then i buy it and keep it hidden until her birthday.

When she gets the presents, she has usually forgot she ever mentioned it and thinks i can really surprise her.
Besides sometimes i've bought a present for several months before the actual date, leaving myself many stressless months to enjoy without rushing in shops (it is a thing that i really honestly hate) and trying in vain to find herself something on the last days.

After being married for almost 20 years i can say that women are soo easy and this is a place for an easy score.
