Vacations, exciting plans anyone?

No vacation till deer season for me. I'm in a lease up in northeast Louisiana, and I've got a shiney new .375 H&H to try out.

End of August/beginning of September it looks like I might get to spend two weeks in Brussels for work.

I nearly twisted-off on a guy a few days ago. I do hate it when folks wave with only one figer. Figured I need a vacation, go "chill-ax" as my wife says. I'm thinking about packing the camping gear & heading for Colorado, get some mountains and streams and forget society for about a week. Probably not for another month and a half though :(

My gal and I are headed to Milwaukee toward the end of the month. She has a niece getting married up that way. I hope they still have a sampling of some good German food in the area, and decent beer (other than the big brother variety). We are going to leave early, take our time, and see what strikes our fancy along the way up, same for the return trip.

Mmmmm Colorado... A camp fire, a case of good microbrew, some RMH and a bad girl by my side... That's my idea of heaven. Unfortunately, my equivalent of a vacation will be if they send me off to work in Edmonton for 3 weeks lol.

Well, I'm off to Corfu island in Greece again this year. I liked it so much the last year so I'm going back. Never did that untill now. Part of it was renting scooters and driving across the island, and part is amazing scenery.

No, it would be this month but it would effectively kill my summer unless I could find some time to drive into the Rockies and camp out over there for a bit.
