So, what do you think about OSX Lion?
I'll be honest, I played with the developer's pre-releases a bit over the last few months, but I didn't really switch to it until today with the official release. (I actually haven't really switched, I installed it in a separate partition, but it's a step up from running it in a virtual machine.)
I am going to really give it a good exclusive 1-2 weeks before I decide for sure, but I think I'm going to be a switcher. At the moment it's noticeably snappier than the snow leopard I was running but part of it may be the windows effect that it's just a fresh install.
So, what are your first impressions? Too iPad-y or not really?

Well I got it today as well. What was nice was being able to download it from the App store and then being able to load it on all the machines for no further costs.
My iMac crashed a couple of times after loading it but the macbook and macbook pro has had no issues. I feel it is a little snapier as well. I too figure it will be a couple of weeks worth of use till I know if I really like it better.
So far its great though. The guestures are really nice and on the trackpad its really sweet.
Ill say that for $29.99 its great and far better then any other computer company is offering.

Never knew it was even released. Still on a powerbook with 10.4. Does that make me a luddite ?
