It was 104 today and humid, heat index was 114 or so. Funny thing is, at one time I would have hated it. There was a time when I prefered cold weather, hated slogging through summer. Could never understand how people could move to Florida etc. Now I am pushing 40, so not old really, but man my view has changed. Now I dread winter and even today's heat didn't really bother me. Of course you don't really want to be working out in this heat, but sitting in the shade with a cool drink and I am in heaven. I'll take it over a winter day! :)

Basil....yesterday sucked! Oh man, it was hard to breathe. Today I hid out in the yorkdale mall for a while, just to be in a huge air conditioned place.
Back to the lake and cottage tomorrow.
Lucky you maxi. I've been working outside the past few days.
Been building some porches with my uncle. You can bet I was working extra hard to get that roof up as fast as I could! At least then I'd have some shade.
