Richz -- MIA???
Has anyone heard from Rich the last few days? I'm worried -- 3-4 days without visiting SRP is just not like him... maybe we should check the razor detox places?
Seriously, Rich... hope you're ok!

Not while I was there, but I arrived fairly late. Seems odd he'd chat w/o visiting the forum, though.

Hey guys.. Sorry I haven't been around much. I really thought getting around on crutches would be easy. Last time I had them I was 21. Oh well it's hard for me to hobble over to the computer with them. I will try to get on the chat next Sunday. Getting old on crutches really sucks.. However it is better than the alternative...

Hey Rich, just take your time and don't overexert yourself, thus risking re-injuring yourself. We will be here when you get well and decide to make a triumphant comeback.

Thanks. Six weeks in this cast and then another 6 in a boot seems like an eternity. I am so bored even though I am trying to work from home. Oh well Slow and steady, as they say. Thanks guys for your concern..

Don't forget about the recovery. Your leg will look like a toothpick and smell like a 2 week old skunk corpse when you take off the cast. The second part is easy to take care of (soap anyone?) but the first part will take some therapy. As soon as the boot comes on, start doing your exercises to minimize the atrophy.
