    Default So tell me folks...

    As it's almost the New Year what spiffy shaving related things do you plan on buying this year? We all want to know.

    I plan to sell all my stuff and grow a beard. Then I can afford to buy a new car.

    Just off the top of my head;
    A custom handle badger brush.
    Several more razors; as many as I can afford.

    Actually I'm going to try not buying anything, as I've got a good 2 year supply of soaps and creams. If I come up with the spare money, I'd like to buy a brush scuttle though.

    I may get a DMT325, we'll see about that. I'd like to get some higher grit stones, but I'll narrow down that choice later.

    I'd like to get a few more razors and brushes so I can get a real rotation going. I'd also like to experiment more with various soaps and creams.

    You'll like the DMT 325. I use it for lapping, of course, but it is also great for sharpening knives.

    I have a bunch of vintage razors in rotation, 2 vintage DE's, 2 vintage SE's, and (coming soon) an EJ 89 barley. And some scales, and blades that need work. And several new pucks of soap bought recently.

    So my planned purchases:

    . . . . NONE !!!!

    Really !!! I mean it !!!

    PS -- Of course, if a _real bargain_ were to appear . . .

    No plans to buy anything in particular. However, I might run into something I haven't got yet.

    LOL... I'm down to 2 razors & 2 trimmers & still no car

    I'm sure I'll buy another stone I really, really need... If only they came with wheels

    As little as possible, I have enough kit for several lifetimes. If I see something special at a fleamarket I might cave in.
