We have already talked about this....
I think we get to have another go, if only to fix up all the things we did wrong the last time, and to correct the wrongs we've done to others in a past life. Doesn't give anyone free rein to go out and do the wrong things in this life on the assumtion we get to fix them up later on though. As far as old souls are concerned, I don't think you have to have been on this planet many life times to be an old soul. Wisdom may just have come from spending a lot of time elsewhere, wheresoever that else where may have been.

I don't know about too much, but is it possible at least in part that we often mistake feelings related to reincarnation with primitive animal instinct? Many animals know exactly what to do in cetain circumstances from migration to nurturing young. were they reincarnated too, or is it old fashioned instict.
Many times human behaviour is much more "complicated" than the basic needs of animals, but could it be we were just born that way with programmed circuitry that makes us "remember" our past lives?
I would say it is possible Kingfish, but how do you know that people and animals, can't reincarnate as animals or people...Some faiths believe that reincarnation into 'lesser' animal form is a punishment for the bad things you do in human form...Not knocking your beliefs (or anyone elses), just putting it out there for thought.

WARNING ! Political comment !
The Chinese government believes in reincarnation but the Dalai Lama needs Beijing's approval to do it legally. :p
Oftentimes, I find myself crawling out of primordial ooze, and feeling the amazing sensation of fresh oxygen entering my lungs for the first time. Then I realize I just left a tavern.
I don't believe in reincarnation...Although I do enjoy the idea of genetic throwback intuition or preferences. Seems plausible to me. JMHO
In matters of faith we believe in what we can never prove. If we were able to prove it, faith would become fact. I would never openly argue with someones belief or faith for fear of being direspectful. However, the OP asks "how about you"? Then it is just as respectful to them to not believe and share your ideas.
I take issue in this belief because there are natural explanations for some of the feelings for why they might get the idea. Maybe certain behaviors and emotions we and other animals are born with really is a form of reicarnation? That we get them from our ancestors they are still alive and well in us, we have been reincarnated.
