lives in an area with cell phone service.
So if they cut my phone line, I'm SOL.

Also, no street address. Giving the 911
operator directions to Vernon Hollow Rd.
on Hewett the second house up the
hollar on the left. It wouldn't be good
or fast.

A shot gun is definately comforting to
have at the head of my bed.

Terry its really all the same...we have to wait around an hour for 911 to show up just like you do...the only difference is they are 10 times as close and 10 times as busy lol...so it all balances out to 0 in the end :rolleyes:

Actually along with being a gun nut, Im also an animal lover...so I wont kill or injure anything unless I am planning on eating it, or it is planning on eating me. So, the rest of the time I am one of those really annoying people that gets a glass and catches the worm or spider or bug in the glass and releases it outside....god that pissed my wife off, ohwell...I believe in karma and that other living things have the natural right to life that I do, as long as they dont fall into one of the two catagories above...then I beleive dawrinism wins out over karma lol

I agree that people have the right to defend themselves, and if in your society that means use of arms, then that's what you need to do.

Hitler and Stalin also did something I find more insidious: they threw away the right to a fair trial. I understand why the US is taking the stand it is, but what's going on in Guantanamo Bay appears to outsiders as very, very close to crossing a line.

My point is that you can hold your 2nd ammendment up as an effective and "readily available means" to redress imbalances between infalibility and corruptness, but if you can't see the imbalances, what good is it?

I really don't get the whole Guantanamo thing. They were caught bering arms against the soldiers of the US while acting for the losing side in a war. They are for sure Guilty of that and it is quite often fatal, no trial needed.

Why so many of them were brought over her I don't know they should either be shot or let go not debated over and certanly not given the same rights as a citizen.

It depends where your priorities are, Im not ready to put my life on the line for the #*$%@# in Gitmo. they are POW accross enemy lines, and I would be much more worried about what we are doing in all the areas you don't hear about. Take everything you hear and multiply it several times, that will give you a much better understand of what the governments of several countries arent telling you. however, I have a responsibility to myself, my family, and my fellow patriots, thats where my priorities stop.
