We had 108 official yesterday. My car thermometer was showing 116 however.

Air conditioning is mankind's greatest achievement in my book!

I believe ever thang in Texas is hot including the beans !! Texas, hell on dogs and wimmin !! Wullie, load up on a few more of them tubes and bugger the humidity !!
In the middle of Summer over here, in the packaging shed of the nickel mine I work at near Leonora, Western Australia, it gets over 125'f, the birds fall out the trees dead, and so do the operators if they don't drink enough. Dry heat to about 110F is ok, but to much for me now if any hotter. Ps neat shovel.

    Cheers

yes it sure is. It really sucks when you want to go outside and it feels like a giant blowdryer. Well, thank goodness for air conditioning!
