Some colleagues printed this off for me and I have it up in my office. What really sealed my fate as the office language guy was when I looked at it and said "It needs a comma there..."

Grammar/word useage is precisely why law students are required to major in English. When a lawyer writes a contract / legal agreement for a client, any variation in the wording of said agreement can change the exact meaning of said agreement/contract and any flaw in the wording can significantly impact any future legal ruling regarding that contract.
Now, name 10 people who actually care about grammar and word useage besides me............!!

The English language is constantly evolving. Which is contrary to what many in this thread seem to believe.
If my target audience understands what I am trying to convey, I am right.
