Interesting news item and vid I found on MLive (statewide newspaper) a few minutes ago. Holland, MI is 1/2 way between K'zoo and Muskegon.

I see this every spring and autumn from my front yard.

Pretty cool. I used to live in MI and worked ALL over the state. It seems like every time I was near the lakes there were dead fish everywhere

I worked as an environmental engineer. It was a beautiful place to work!

I miss the Great Lakes! I miss large body's of water period!

I have to admit that moving to Kansas was hard on me with there being no large body of water near me. I actually had to take solace in the notion that if I grabbed a rubber tire and jumped into the Kaw river (Kansas river) that I would end up in the Golf of Mexico eventually.

Having learned to sail LONG before I even knew how to ride a bike - should give you an idea as to my connection to water lol.
