Thread: Any members from Germany??

A good friend of mine has been to Germany a few times and while there he had a lot of wine No matter where we go we can never find German red wine. Everyone says they are hard to get. It is my understanding that most of it is made by small wineries and most does not leave the country.

He has had Austrian red and he said that is close, but the German is a little sweeter and just has a distinct taste to it.

I am asking if anyone can get there hands on some and ship it to me (USA). He does a lot of computer work for me and never takes any money so I thought this would be a nice thank you gift.

Even if there's a specific wine you're looking for, you should have luck finding it from a seller in the US online. You'll save on shipping and customs and get it in time for Christmas.

I was curious how a case of wine would do being shipped? I had my wifes x-mas party tonight and spoke with one of her bosses, he is a wine nut. He pointed me to a semi-local source I will check also.

If that doesn't pan out I may order from the site.
