I think they have found some little squiggly lines that could be interpreted by believers as a sign of past live, but interpreted by non believers as squiggly lines. In the end what this all amounts to is asking for more money. This 'wait till next month' is just stage managing.

With everything going on here on Earth isn't it, well a little unnecessary to think that something on mars will be our savior.
The moon turned out to be a big '0'! Wait that's right we made larger and more accurate missiles without looking like it was really for military reasons.
Lets stop worrying about Martians and start being thankful about each other.
