I wish I had enough hair to grow a mullet.

Sadly not mate.
My wife would even go so far as to say luckily:)
But this one, from a few years later, was posted on Facebook by a friend (?) of mine, so that belongs to eternity now.
As this is a thread about cars, what you see the rear end of is my 4th or 5th car. A 87 Chevrolet Astro.
So, in short, a crappy hairdo and a crappy car;)

01 Mazda Protege. Just like this one without the spoiler.
1st car: A yellow 1974 Datsun 710-manual steering and brakes, no A/C. I had to start it sometimes with a screwdriver on the solenoid. Had a lot of good times in that car.
2nd car: 1967 Red VW Beetle-What a car! No heat, it might have been capable of 55 going downhill with a tail-wind. But it had that classic Beetle mechanical cricket sound!
Sad to say, nope. Wish I did. A lot of good times in that old bucket. I outran the cops in my town and every town around mine at one time or another. That dent in the fender hump was from an ol boy's head. I don't remember what we were fighting about, but when I rang his bell on that fender, he got out of the mood to keep fighting.
Sold it right before I left for Nam. Found out after I got back from Nam that the clown that bought it wrecked it and killed himself. Sad end for a glorious old ride.
My very first own was a third- or fourth-hand 1984 Ford Fiesta with a 1.1L engine and a second roof. The previous owner had bought it from the pre-previous owner after the latter one had flipped the car over in an accident. Sadly i have no photographs of the car but the memory remains, and a very fond memory it is. Good times indeed!
I feel a great deal of pity for anyone born after 1970, for they had little opportunity to have a real first car...you know, one with horsepower and character. Chargers. Goats. Plymouth Fury. AMX. T'Birds. Real rolling steel.
