Mind you, you can still donate your body to science.
Medical students still need corpses to disect, and several other places could use your remains. I read an article about corpse farms, where forensic scientists do studies on the speed of decomp in a wide variety of circumstances. No matter what your lifestyle was, they could always use your body for such purposes.
Hey Shooter,
The CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease) outbreak did cross to humans, and as a prion based disease it is unknown how it spread. A few people did die horrible deaths as a result of the crossover. Since we don't really know anything about how Prions infect humans, it's best to prevent exposure by any ethical means. HEHE house of ill repute :) made me smile (I haven't heard that phrase for a long while.)
God ... I remember studying (and I use the word loosely) prions in university, it was the least scientific portion of my degree study. Lots of theories and if's and but's, which annoys me a little. I like black and white data :P
