My brother has moved in, along with his three pugs. he wants to do up a back room of mine that was built off the garage. My place was originally a shack (it hasn't actually developed from there that much) in the 50's. I hadn't even been in this room for about ten years. How do you think we'll go with this?

Actually, should have said, we came across a possum living in the roof. I tried to catch him and he bit my finger. I think my mother may have been surprised at my language....

Being a Carpenter myself Carl the space certainly as potential, all the walls are in place, you have an excellent climate so things we must deal with in the northern hemisphere such as damp are not an issue, get a good roof on the building, then dry line the building with new insultion, could be a nice little project, or better still turn it into a workshop for razor restoration.;)

But not sure you'd see my humor.
My garage is ~ 90 yrs old. It had the same flat roof for 80 of those 90yrs. Roofed,reroofed, over and over again. The main task was to take it all off and put up a new one. That was the hardest part. After that it just all started to come together. Good luck.
Hmm...your opossums aren't as ugly as ours. Seems almost like a pet type animal.
