Off to Jacksonville, NC tomorrow night
My wife and I are flying out of San Francisco tomorrow night and landing in Jacksonville, NC Saturday morning.
We are then being picked up by our daughter-in-law who is driving us and the boys to Parris Island, SC to see our son.
His graduation from D.I school will be Wednesday so we have a couple of days of visiting before the ceremony.
He thinks we are coming the following weekend and therefore missing his graduation but we are surprising him.
Also I will be meeting my 14 month old grandson Tyler for the first time! Wow!
Just thought I would share that.
My son is a Drill Instructor in the United States Marine Corps at Parris Island, SC

Congratulations. Isn't hard to believe your son will now be turning boys into men, aka Marines? And congratulations on you the grandson, is Tyler your first?

Thank You ReardenSteel. Tyler is my first biological grandson, yes. We have a 5 year old grandson as well that my son's wife has from a previous marriage to another Marine.
