Weird humor
I had a friend who was born and raised in Springfield, Ohio. He told me that when Jonathon Winters was a teenager he would jump out of the bushes, snarling and growling, and scare the bejeezus out of him and his little friends. They were all afraid to walk anywhere near Jonathon's grandmother's house, with whom he lived.
A great comic genius.

Robin Williams wishes he was this crazy. This was a good vid Jimmy, but we have both seen him do crazier stuff, the guy was an improv genius. I used to watch his show when I was a kid, he was the best thing out there.

Jonathon was a U.S. Marine at 17 serving 2 1/2 years in the south pacific. Semper Fi.
And he was also wise enough to refuse a shock treatment/lobotomy when he was institutionalized.
RIP Jonathon you made me laugh so many times I will never forget you.Bob

He was also a serious actor. Remember the twilight zone episode about the pool shark with him and Jack Klugman.

Thanked: 1587We didn't see much of him as an individual artist here in Australia. I remember him as Mork and Mindy's "baby".
Rest in Peace.
