Thanked: 1185Question
What in the blue hell is marannaise? These people make decent rednecks look bad. People like this are why people hear a Southern accent and automatically subtract 50 IQ points. Notice they have subtitles for people speaking English, IN ENGLISH! These folks are what we call country as a turnip green and redneck as a spit cup where I come from

I happened to catch this episode with my daughter. We both agree that you can feel yourself getting stupider every time you watch this show.

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!
I eliminated cable/satellite from our home several years ago. I honestly have no idea what sort of programming that is, but when I last had television programming, there was nothing like that. I'm happy to know I'm not missing much.

You and me both, brother. We're somewhere around six years without cable or network TV. Funny, our family is just fine. We stream netflix if we want to watch a movie, etc. TV is of course ubiquitous and seems entirely innocuous to those that incorporate it into their daily lives. It's only after ridding yourself of it that you realize how overt and obvious TV is in numbing and forming those who watch it. With most people, TV really is a wasteful addiction and no one seems to look at it that way.
