    Default Almost completed my backyard!

My wife and I bought this house almost a year ago and I have been doing yard work ever since! The house was vacant for 18 months and the water was off so the majority of the landscaping died. I have taken 6 pick up truck loads and 8 trailer loads of yard debris to the dump! It was a ton of work but so far the results are very rewarding. There is still much to do but I installed sod over the weekend and thought it would be fun to share some before and after pictures.

There is no substitute for hard work. Looks great, and I'm sure it will look even better when you're done. Very nice!

The before and after is a pretty amazing contrast. Good work!

Geez bombay, you really know how to poop in my soup! I know your hurting over that chipped razor but knocking a guys lawn is cold! lol

I removed a ton of old dead roots. This little yard had 14 more trees than you see in the pics! The only surface roots were from the ash trees and by time they reappear we will be moved on.

Thanks for all the comments gents. Pixelfixed, the sprinklers are running as I type! 5 times a day, the Las Vegas water district is going to hit me hard next month!
