I Bought this, an Imperial and a Crown Sword, blades only, to attempt some restoration work.Attachment 139044
It was originally a square point but I dropped it so I cut it into a round point.Attachment 139045
The blade is so thin I didn't attempt at sanding out the pitting.

The scales are ziricote.

The spacer is an old COPPER penny with 2 pieces plastic ( anti-freeze container )Attachment 139048
I sharpened it up and shaved with it 3 times.

While taking these pics I noticed the blade is so thin it has a hole in it

but it's so thin and shaves so good I'm keeping it in the rotation.
This was my first attempt at making scales and spacers and pinning back in Sept./Oct. 2012
