Hibbard,Spencer,Bartlett&Co.
I Bought this, an Imperial and a Crown Sword, blades only, to attempt some restoration work.
It was originally a square point but I dropped it so I cut it into a round point.
The blade is so thin I didn't attempt at sanding out the pitting.
The scales are ziricote.
The spacer is an old COPPER penny with 2 pieces plastic ( anti-freeze container )
I sharpened it up and shaved with it 3 times.
While taking these pics I noticed the blade is so thin it has a hole in it
but it's so thin and shaves so good I'm keeping it in the rotation.
This was my first attempt at making scales and spacers and pinning back in Sept./Oct. 2012Last edited by RONNIEJNZN; 08-28-2013 at 06:22 PM. Reason: spelling and add-on

Good job! I like the rough, old and worn look of the scales and the idea of using a penny as a spacer!
I want a lather whip
