Re-restore W&B "The Celebrated" 8/8
Just finished up reworking a previous restore, Jason wanted it put into Honey Horn and restored back to a more vintage look..
After I un-screwed the Torx set up on the Wood scales, this is what I found.. :(

They had drilled the pivot hole out to 3/16, and one of the biggest issues when doing this is the fact that the tangs are intentionally beveled in two directions.. They bevel from top to bottom and they bevel from front to back.. Now calculate that with the fact that these old tangs were not actually done by a machine, but by hand and the chances of that drilled hole being straight are slim at best.. I used three different sized Brass tubes nestled together to take it back down, there was just enough slop to allow for the misaligned hole :)
The new Honey horn scales are a thin .110 with the Tigereye wedge at the end set at .050 Brass pins and triple stacked washers hold it all together..
