Mycarver,
You are SO talented. Each of us is blessed with talents but some are unfortunate not to discover them. Work and return to your work again and again. It's a gift. Never let it go to waste. Extraordinary.

Holy Mother of Gawd...those are some of the best looking razors I've ever seen!
And they look like they probably shave superbly!
The razors in the F Reynolds photo I particularly like...do you ever sell your work?
Oh no ,, it won't be everyone's cup of tea. But after doing several hundred wood, bone , horns,, I had to do something different for myself. Many have said of other restorations,, "that blade should have a black horn scale". Well,,yeah, but.
Lets face it, you won't see many others like it. And with China's fascination with carved Ivory it somehow seemed a natural with this blade. I'll have fun with it. Besides I just bought another 67 razors today and I'm sure many of them will be straight up restos. I grabbed another 4 W&B's to add to my 30, more DD Satin edges to add to my Goldedges, Torreys, Artists, Genevas, and Gencos, Wosty's, Worchesters, 5 more Spikes, Pearl Kings, Le Coutoure, and at 400 razors one carved Ivory won't make a difference. Sometimes you just have to break the mold and see what can be done. There are plenty of black horn razors out there and I'll build many more.
Thank you very much gentlemen!
As to me selling my work I have to say no in a way. Meaning, I don't sell my personal razors ( 400 or so ) where I do the off beat pieces which I love. I've been after Glen for 6 months or more now to become a vendor but apparently my work has to be approved by some panel or so he keeps telling me. I built a site, do resto's on other forums but we'll see .
But for off beat scales ( certainly not everyone's cup of tea ) here are some others I had fun building. I made all the acrylics you see, did the etchings, sculpted the blades with the "file work" and just had fun with these. Yeah, I took a walk on the wild side. Being a professional carver and artist cut me some slack.
Some beautys the for sure, the 6th pic where the scales looks peeled had my eyes open wide, love it.
Fun to see how some people can create things in very different styles, some I love, others are for others to love.
They are very pretty scales fantastic job.
Not usually what would strike my fancy, but I gotta say those ivory scales are just beautiful. You can see the hours of work that went into those and it was definitely worth it! Well done sir :tu
Couldn't find you in vendors corner...could you provide more info please?
Thanks, and stunning work!
Duuude, AWWWSOME!
Might I say that those scales are stunningly appropriate to a "Chinese Razor". Took my breath away, even had to show it to my wife (I usually shield her from razor porn). Love it.
Beautiful razor. The scales are sick. Sweeeeet.
