No, not some dictator stealing money from the treasury to make himslef more attractive to the ladies, but a 100 yr old King Razor from Indiana.
A member herebrought over some German brews, then slipped this into my hands and asked if I could do something with it.
The scales were a mess, the front was cut very oddly. Sorry I dont have any before pics.
They were also at least 1/2 too long.
So I ground the ends off down to the pin holes, reshaped the front to get rid of the odd curve/divot.
Funny thing happened during the sanding down. Little pieces of plastic (celluloid)? Were catching fire and flying off leaving contrails of smoke.
Any how, reduced the wedge so the wedge pin would not be on the inscription.
Pinned up with nickel rod and steel washers. Dead center.
Sanded the blade from 600 to 2000. Only 600 on the blade faces, the member likes a satin finish.
    Buffed and polished.
Delivery later this afternoon. The member prefers to hone his own.
