That is very classy all-round, love the scales and I think your Father is very lucky to have you as a son :D

Amboyna Burl is my all time favorite wood and it looks great on razors. My espresso machine is all decked out in Amboyna handles and portafilter and its stunning. Enjoy and nice work.
Never cared much for wooden scales but this one... wow!
If I make one with wood this would be what I strive for.
WOW what a great looking blade. I waited too long to do something like this because my Dad is now 89 and has gone from a blade to an electric shaver. I'm just glad to have him around, the WWII herd is thinking out.
Have a great XMAS.
Beutiful!!

Here you go. It's a Quickmill Anita HX and the wood was done by Dave Stephens who is a mentor here on SRP. He recently made me a tamper handle to match the machine. His razor restoration and new scales are top notch too.

I have to say to all of y'all that I am truly flattered! Trust me I do not consider myself an expert or even a novice. Yet y'all have given me all the praises of a pro. Trust me I will say that my work is flawed but I am still in the beginning stages.
