Thread: Four Shorties Rescaled

Finally got around to rescaling these old shorties. They have been sitting in a drawer waiting for me to get them better dressed. Rescaled them with old scrap scales or cut down their old scales to a proper fit. Used silver nickle domed collars on the Greaves and W&B and stacked brass and stainless steel on the Heiffer and the Wells respectively. I am pleased with the way the "feau bullseye" stacked brass turned out on the John Heiffer. IMHO they look old and just like the real deal. Back to life for the old shorties! Just need to get them honed and a good shaving edge on them....when "I get around to it". Will probably keep the old Greaves and Son as I like that one the best.
