Good point JB, never thought of it that way...and yes, the green patina would have to be treated, good question, how would you treat it or prevent it?

That copper will be blue in a few months of use and not too sure it would be all that great on the celluloid. If sitting in a collection they should be alright as long as there is no moisture in the air :<0)

ive had a number of razors which had copper thrust washers, most looked like they were added at a time when the razors were repined. not sure if ive ever had any on factory pinned razors????? at any rate, they all oxidized like 10pups said, never had translucent scales though so not a problem. give an update in the future mycarver? let us know how they hold up behind the clear?
