Wedge liner is .009" thick Black G-10.
That razor turned out beautiful...excellent work Brad!! Last time I dropped into your shop, I thought I had walked into the dentist office (you had just finished cutting one side of the scales!!!)...LOL....I'm glad your efforts paid off!! What did you use to polish scales?
Is there any type of "sealant" that you have to use when finishing the scales to keep moisture out so the bone doesn't get destroyed if it gets wet?
Gehring, I wet sanded to 600grit and buffed. Ivory is wonderful when it comes to that. It just polishes right up.
cheetah, Ivory is very solid; and takes a high gloss finish, the water just rolls right off it after it is polished up.
Bad ass, Brad. Love the ruggedness of it, the patina goes great with the mammoth, wedge & pins. My style of blade...
