    Default W&B ,,,Oh My

This Razor ran up some frequent flyer miles visiting other benches until it landed on mine. So I played the hand I was dealt.
What someone was trying to accomplish with either a Dremel with a coarse stone or bench grinder is beyond me. Why didn't they stop when they saw what was happening? And then go to the other side as well.
I did what I could to bring her back to life. The client wanted a mirror polish so my work was cut out for me. I pushed it as far as I could and it turned out quite well I think. All things considered.
Just look at that etch. The word "THE" is nearly gone. The scratches were as deep as the etch.
After working on the blade I duplicated traditional W&B style scales in black horn, white wedge and stacked washers. No,, it's not a silver pin. It is brass. Just very shiny.
    It's back in rotation now.

I have one that looks very similar--I guessed a Dremel. They stopped before doing too much damage, but they did damage the etching on the blade. I'll save what I can of the etching.

    Good luck Joe.
Some people shouldn't be allowed to play with toys. Or should know when to stop.

Mark, once again you just blow me away with your work! :

I wish that I had the funds to travel from my location in SE Washington State to your workshop and watch how you manage to pull these saves off!

    Great Work!

Thank you very much . Old I can deal with, abuse is something else entirely. Especially when it's uncalled for.
I still can't fathom this "work". My mind goes blank.
