    VERY nicely done.

Execution appears flawless and the design is superb!

Beautiful and there is going to a very happy Finn in the near future I'd say.

That looks magnificent, what is the grind? Are the stripes in the steel or is the grind stepped? Is the finish just natural or has it been etched/treated?
    so many questions I know

It is about a 3/8 hollow or so. Was ground on a 6 inch wheel.

Stripes in the steel are from the layers. They show up after etching with Ferric Chloride. This particular steel has a thin center layer of hitachi white and the surrounding layers are actually a soft steel that is not hardenable - thus this must always be honed with electrical tape over the spine.
