Default R. Wade Ne Plus Ultra in MOP

I'd selected some (nearly) one-piece MOP for this travel-sized razor. The pearl is solid for the whole scale with about 1 cm of another piece joined at the pivot side, so not quite solid scales, but close. The shape is copied directly from Smith's Key 1816, but much liberty is taken here - the original material is ivory I think, and there would not have been the large collars present. I was not keen on pinning solid MOP collarless though, so I went with copper collars. I really liked the color contrast.

Very nice, really liking the travel-sized razors.

Very nice work! The angled seams are well-done and nearly invisible. A classy and proper job!

(btw, I have a German razor in which 3 panels are joined in a similar manner, only with pins.)

Very nice razor! I like how you stayed true to the era with the shape and pins.

Just to be clear, I didn't do the joining on the MOP, this was done many years ago as it came off of a broken hand fan.
